North End Real Estate
The North End is one of Boston’s oldest neighborhoods. It is Boston’s version of New York’s “little Italy”…there are probably more restaurants per square foot in this neighborhood than in any other one in Boston. The housing stock is primarily brick, whether it be a mid rise building that housed a factory at one point or a small brick row house which is still a single family or has transitioned to condos. Most of the streets are narrow and are still paved with cobblestones. It has a very ‘old world’ feel to it however with the development that has occurred on the Waterfront, there are now more amenities, shops and parks that border the neighborhood and make it appealing for all ages and lifestyles.
